Melanie York has ten years experience in the insurance profession, with significant expertise and experience in group employee benefits and executive benefit plans.
Melanie has been with The Gus Bates Company since July 2005. Prior experience includes McQueary Henry Bowles Troy for nearly two years, and CSG/Hull Benefits, Incorporated, in which she was employed for six and one half years as a Senior Account Manager. Melanie was also employed by Mark of Excellence Pizza Company (Dominos Pizza®) for five years as Customer Service Manager and Manager of their centralized call center. Melanie's positive attitude, dedication, loyalty, and fierce commitment to exceptional customer service are commendable attributes which are very well received by her clients and peers.
Melanie is working towards her Associates degree in Business Management. Melanie is also currently working towards her Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation.

Melanie has been happily married to her husband Claude for thirteen years. Melanie & Claude have one beautiful daughter, Tessa Jayne, who turned four in May. Melanie is strongly committed to her family and enjoys volunteering at her church and in her community. Melanie's hobbies include gardening, bicycling, swimming, and hunting.
