Kip Adams leads the Corporate Retirement Plans practice for The Gus Bates Company. Kip has over 12 years of experience dedicated solely to the field of qualified retirement plans. Kip is a Certified Public Accountant with 10 years of experience in public accounting. He spent seven years as director of the retirement plan group for the Dallas office of a global accounting firm.

Kip received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas in Austin and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of North Texas.

Kip is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries with designations of Qualified Plan Financial Consultant ("QPFC") and Qualified 401(k) Administrator ("QKA"). He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Kip specializes in assisting businesses in plan design, merger/acquisition issues, meeting and documenting fiduciary obligations, investment review and vendor selection. His knowledge and dedicated experience to the area of corporate retirement plans gives him a unique perspective that will bring value to plan sponsors.

Kip is a registered representative of NFP Securities, Inc. He holds the Series 7, Series 63, and Group 1 licenses.
