Carrie DuVall joined the Gus Bates Company in September of 2005. As Director of Business Development, Carrie introduces our firm's philosophy and service to potential clients. Carrie has been an insurance agent since 1998 and specializes in working with individuals concerning their life, disability, and long term care insurance needs. She sees her role as an educator. "I strive to be a resource for others. Once clients are educated as to how the different products work they can make their own best decision about which products fit their needs."

As a native Fort Worthian, Carrie attended Southwest High School and graduated with honors from Texas Wesleyan University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Education. Carrie worked her way through college as a youth minister before entering the world of insurance. She says that if interacting and helping others gives you energy and enthusiasm, then it can translate into any career.

Carrie is the Chapter Advisor for her sorority, Alpha Xi Delta, at TWU. She is very active in both the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers at her daughter's school, Tanglewood Elementary. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, Madison Jo, and her boyfriend, Eric Fox and his three children, Taylor, Reilly & Ryan.
