Did you know that your doctor has to allow you to receive generic drugs?  Be sure and
ask for a generic drug or ask that he allow you to have the generic equivalent of a brand name
drug from the pharmacy.

Prescription drugs are not the only reason healthcare costs are rising, but they do play a
major factor in why insurance companies keep raising their rates.  The patent on many brand name
drugs are expiring which means we will start to see more and more generic drugs in the near future
